We serve unique wine, craft beer, & specialty spirits alongside small plates that highlight fresh & local ingredients. Our concept is unique, we value people who take pride and ownership in their work over experience. We’re looking for intuitive self-starters to join our team service environment, and maintain our reputation for making our guests feel like family.
Successful candidates will anticipate guests’ needs, take initiative on tasks big and small, and work as a team alongside the owners and small staff. We work hard to create and maintain a positive, fun work environment that enables us to serve quality product with genuine hospitality to each of our guests.
About you
Passion for wine/beer, interest in pairings with food
Hard-working, thrive on a fast-paced environment
Strong communicator, able to work well both independently and as a team
Curiosity about flavors and pairings, willing to taste each dish/beverage that we serve and accurately describe them to guests. Must be 21 to serve and 16 to host
Brain like a rolodex – we constantly rotate our wine and food offerings and need you to keep up with our changing menu and daily specials
Some restaurant experience is a plus, though exceptions will be made for the right fit
Open availability Memorial Day - Labor Day, especially weekends
Pay is dependent upon experience and always fair
About Us Both myself and my partner Robert are onsite every day, open to close, performing any and all duties necessary. Robert is from Sterling Heights, I’m from Fennville. We've both lived across the US and have decided to settle in Douglas and open our own business. We have recently welcomed a third partner in our Chef, Eoen, and are thrilled to be working alongside such humble & hardworking talent. Together, we love sharing great food and wine with friends and family, aren't afraid of working hard, and appreciate the value of surrounding ourselves with a great team of people. We have fun, encourage creativity, and genuinely love this industry.
